Things that helped.
Just a quick post to share some things that help me.

After doing lots of self-study I'm starting to wonder if another partial cause of Menieres has to do with the histamine response (or lack of response)

I find sugar tends to lead to an attack as well as wheat.

I also suffer from dry eyes and hardly ever sneeze or get a runny nose, even when I'm really sick. I found Wasabi or wasabi peas clears out my sinuses and helps me drain important lymph's. Wasabi eases the pressure in my head and helps alleviate headaches.

Slowly rolling my head in a circular motion to my shoulders when I'm not having an attack (and stop as soon as the dizzies kick in) helps prevent attacks later. The hardest thing for me is that I get REALLY tense so avoid feeling sick.

Hopefully I'll have more tips soon.

I have also found that to much sugar like to much salt will set off an attack. I have never been a big sugar freak to begin with though.

Hot foods help, they always have aslong as they aren't chalked full of salt. I find sambala (sp?) a thai chili pasta works better for me and goes on almost anything especially eggs.

Have you tried doing full body rolls. I used to involved with akido a japanesse martial art that involves alot of throws and rolls. I got really dizzy during class and had to take breaks but I worked thru it. When I went to college and left the studio my dizzies got a million times worse. So I found another martial art this one involving circular motion not falls or throw but it helped get me back steady. I find doing full body circular motion whether it be dancing, rolls, weapons practice helps. Just don't spin around in circles like we did as kids that is all kinds of bad and hard floor contacting head.

I also find cooling down my body when I have an attack especially a drop attack is the best help. it may hurt sometimes but it gets me out of it faster. Also eating a bannana during or after an attack or something with potasium helps get me onto my feet so to say. it makes no sence to the docs but it has always helped me.

Ok, I just wanted to say that I also feel a hot rush that comes over me at the onset of an attack and need to cool down as well. I'm not sure about the sugar thing. I feel like everything seems to bring on a spell!
